NEW Family Initiative in 2024
Advancing economic mobility through family-centered support
Pathways to
Positive Change
Economic stability is about more than 昀椀nancial security—it’s about
expanding opportunity, fostering resilience, and building pathways to
long-term self-suf昀椀ciency. Pathways to Positive Change, CDA’s newest pilot
program, supports families enrolled in our Child Care Payment Program by
equipping them with the tools, guidance, and personalized support needed
to build a more secure and thriving future.
At the heart of this initiative is one-on-one coaching that helps families
strengthen 昀椀ve essential pillars of stability. Modeled after EMPath’s
Mobility Mentoring® approach, this strengths-based framework
emphasizes partnership and empowerment. Coaches work alongside
families as mentors and advocates—helping them break down large goals
into achievable milestones, navigate challenges, and celebrate progress.
Currently, twelve families are participating in the pilot program, receiving
individualized support in areas such as career development, budgeting,
continuing education, and connecting to vital community resources.
Pathways to Positive Change represents CDA’s deep commitment to family
empowerment and economic mobility. CDA is proud to walk alongside
families on this journey—supporting them one goal, one breakthrough, and
one success at a time.
